Northeast Adaptive Recreation Basketball League
We're thrilled to announce that the Recreation Authority is now part of the NEAR Basketball League! This league offers a fantastic opportunity for teens and adults with special needs to engage in a dynamic and enjoyable basketball experience. Individuals aged 13 years and above with cognitive and/or physical impairments are warmly invited to join, regardless of their skill level. Additionally, we will have weekly practices to enhance everyone's abilities. Our home games will take place in neighboring communities. As a special touch, each player will receive their own personalized Recreation Authority jersey! As a participant for our first year, you will be able to help us select our mascot for the team! To ensure your spot, be sure to register by November 3rd.
