Babysitting Training
The American Red Cross is the nation's leader in babysitting training and will prepare you to be the best sitter in your neighborhood. Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be safe, professional and a reliable sitter. This class covers Babysitting as a Business, emergency procedures, basic first aid, rescue breathing / choking, diapering of infants, feeding, safety at home, positive discipline skills, games and more! Classes are taught by a certified Red Cross Instructor. Certification is valid for 2 years. Fee includes Babysitter Manual, CD Rom and interactive materials. Participants must bring a lunch, drink and a baby doll to diaper.

The Rec Cross Babysitting Basics class helps you prepare for your first babysitting job or improve your skills. Focusing on caring for infants and children, age-appropriate activities, and child behavior, this certification is a great start or boost for your babysitting business. Building on Babysitting Basics, the Babysitter's Training course teaches leadership, business development, safety, behavior management, basic childcare, and first aid. Successful completion earns a printable certificate. Fee includes a manual, CD-ROM, and interactive materials. Please bring a lunch and drink.
